| Russia's consolidated budget surplus amounted to nearly RUB 2.966 trillion (approx. USD 120.81bn) in January-October 2007, which is 22.3 percent greater than RUB 2.424 trillion (approx. USD 98.73bn) during the same months a year earlier, the Federal State Statistics Service (Rosstat) indicated in its report today.|
Consolidated budget revenue climbed 23.5 percent to RUB 10.515 trillion (approx. USD 428.31bn). Revenue from foreign economic activity accounted for 18 percent of the total budget revenue and amounted to RUB 1.897 trillion (approx. USD 77.27bn). Budget spending stood at RUB 7.549 trillion (approx. USD 307.49bn), having increased by 23.98 percent from January-October 2006.
