Haitong International Holdings Limited (originally known as Hai Tong (HK) Financial Holdings Limited, hereinafter referred to as “Haitong International Holdings”) is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Haitong Securities Co. Ltd. (“Haitong Securities”) established in Hong Kong in July 2007 with an issued capital of HK$4 billion. It is the overseas window of Haitong Securities and the primary platform for operating its internationalization strategy. Haitong International Securities has a broad retail client base and extensive distribution network, with 12 branches in Hong Kong and Macau. In China, it has 2 representative offices in Beijing and Shanghai and 6 investment consultancy centres in major cities including Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Hangzhou and Xiamen. The major operations of the company includes: 1. Corporate finance, which includes IPO sponsorship, underwriting and placements, financial advisory, compliance advisory, institutional clients services and research; 2. Assets management, which includes public funds, mandatory provident fund, private funds, alternative investment funds, Capital Investment Entrant Scheme and discretionary accounts services; 3. Brokerage services, which includes securities and derivative products, futures and options, bullion and foreign exchange, IPO subscription and financing services, online trading, margin financing, wealth management, agency and trustee services, stock borrowing, equity-linked note, structured product investment, bond investment and research.
