The MiniMed 780G system uses its SmartGuard dosing algorithm technology, which automatically delivers basal insulin and auto-correction doses every five minutes based on sensor glucose readings. The MiniMed 780G consists of the MiniMed 780G insulin pump, the Simplera Sync CGM sensor, and the instinct sensor. Its platform of clinically effective solutions for PWD requiring insulin therapy includes Automated Insulin Delivery (AID) Systems and a Smart Multiple Daily Injection (MDI) System.
